When the standard average of the Masters Division is 2.6 seconds for five steel targets per stage. You cannot afford to use substandard ammo. Nuff said about CCI Mini Mags.

i have a friend who has a century arms ak, i forget the model, but the ak operators union says that it's the nr 1 do not buy ak47 due to a problem with the bolt carrier that could cause an explosive situation after as few as 1200 rounds are fired thru it. for my monety i'd say a bulgarian ak or a cheper american mande palmetto state armory ak

In a self defense situation where stress is high and fear is present. Revolvers are the weapon of choice due to their ease of use. Simi-automatic weapons in high stress situations require skill in handling like switching off the safety, ensuring a round is chambered beforehand, and proper firing techniques. No limp wristing. Too much to remember when your life is on the line. Because of capacity, semi-automatic weapons in a war situation is best. For self defense, revolvers are best.

Revolvers are, hands-down, better in every way mentioned here. The downsides across from automatics are 1) width when considering as a CC option, 2) reload time, and 3) round capacity. Nothing to be done about the first two, but honestly, if you need more than 6 rounds to settle a predicament then you are probably in a disadvantaged situation where 15 rounds may also not cut it. That, by the way is the main reason people buy automatics. Shoot accurately - spraying leads to praying.
